The purgative period 1999-2000. Letting go of failure and ambition, discovering contents of delimited unconscious. Depression. My life was in ruin and I lived on a noisy road in Hollywood. I only painted at night and usually completed a few paintings before bedding in the pre-dawn hours. Hundreds of works made. The images came freely and voiced but also mocked my pain.
